Description
Wheel-turned; swirled, mixed clay of blue, tan, reddish brwon, cream and brown. Unglazed; exterior sides shellaced (?). Flat, round base, short, thick, slightly expanding sides; broad, unthickened rim with flat lip. "Niloak" stamped in art letters on base. Corresponds with tray belonging to smoking set, illus. in Niloak Pottery Catalog ca 1920.
