Description
Molded or cut tile of mixed brown, greenish tan, blue, reddish brown and cream clay. Upper surface glazed. Square, relatively thick. No makers' mark. Taken from the hearth of the right-hand front room of the former Niloak outlet store on "old Little Rock highway." Article in Spinny Wheel, Oct 1970 states that these tiles were produced during the 1920's. Outlet building constructed in 1929.
