Description
Niloak pottery jar (a) with lid (b). Wheel-turned (?); white opaque glaze over white paste on all areas except exterior base & rim of jar. Flat base, cylindrical body to straight rim with rounded lip. Shallow parallel grooves at base in 4 places; each series forms stepped triangle design. Short, similar design on lid - running from top down. Short lid with inset knob on top. "Niloak" stamped in print letters on jar base, no makers mark on lid.
