Drum Major Jacket for Jeannine Hartley.
White wool tunic lined in rayon satin .
Front: left side has 11 chrome plated "lyre" shank buttons; 6 machine worked button holes, snap at waist and below shoulder. Right inside has stitched-on label "De Moulin Bros. & Co." Pocket has with stitched-on label: "De Moulin Bros. & Co. Manufacturers/Jeanine Hartley/chest 34 collar 13-1/2/No. o. No 549824". Right side has 11 chrome plated "lyre" shank buttons, snap at waist and below shoulder.
Back: fitted, short slit center back.
Sleeves: red twill band around bottom with point at top. To side has red soutache braid sewn above red cuff in a meandering design. Shoulders have faded red and white braided cord epaulets.
Collar: red twill stand up trimmed in white braid sewn in a meandering design. Lined in white. Has hook and eye, hanging loop from center back.
