This bracelet belonged to UARK alumna Brenda Blagg, a longtime journalist in the area. In 1971 she joined the staff of The Springdale News and stayed there as a reporter-columnist through its various incarnations as The Morning News and later the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. On December 14th, 2022, Brenda passed away. Her family donated her personal materials to the University Special Collections and the University Museum. Many of the materials represent her career, such as tape recorders, press badges, typewriters, and early laptops.
