Description

Relief depicts two figures: on right, frontal figure moving to right turns toward other figure, carries shield on left arm (not shown) while right arm is raised and rests on forehead; on left, frontal figure moving left turns face to right figure, left arm extending out and touching chest of right figure with backhand while right arm hangs at side holding round object. Rectangular base with 2 columns beneath figures for support. Two drill holes (for attachment) in bottom of base, through tops of heads, and two on back on support columns (one breaking through to front). Back of relief and bottom and sides of base flat. White limestone, weathered to light brown.
