Thyroid Glands Bottle: (1) glass, pressed bottle with tablets inside. Indented, rectangular base; rectangular body has rounded corners; domed, round shoulders; cylindrical neck; cylindrical, short lip/collar. Cork stopper has round, green label reading, "Indianapolis/Lilly/USA." Paper label reads, "1000/Tablets--Thyroid Glands--Desiccated USP 2 grains (0.13 GM.). Containing not less than 0.2 per cent Iodine and equivalent to ten grains (0.65 GM.) fresh thyroid glands from sheep. Darker green oval has red "Lilly." Eli Lilly & Co., Indianapolis, U.S.A. Handwritten in upper right-hand corner: Rz -2/15+ dz."
