Description
Bandman's jacket. White wool twill.
Front: shield with large red "A" in center edged in red soutache, with 8 silver metal buttons (6 on one side, 2 at neck). Fitted at waist. 2 snaps at right shoulder, 6 4-hole with plastic buttons on right side corresponding with 6 hidden buttonholes on inside of shield. On right side, 2 buttonholes at edge corresponding to 2 4-hole buttons on inside of left side.
Back: fitted with tail. 3 trefoil designs of red soutache braid on each edge of tail.
Sleeves: trefoil design with 2 bands on lower front sleeve, of red soutache.
Collar: stand up collar edged with red soutache braid, large hook & eye at ends of collar. Snap in heavy collar liner on inside of collar. Lining: right hand side - breast pocket and vertical slit opening.
Label: "Sol Frank Uniforms Inc./San Antonio, Texas/America's finest band uniforms" in red on white label. Square tag in back: "57/Sol Frank/Uniforms, Inc." in black on white.
