Description
Bandman's jacket. Red wool twill, fitted to waist.
Left front laps over right as a shield - shield bound in white soutache with white A in middle. Six silver buttons on each side, 6 hidden buttonholes on left side, 6 4-hole buttons (plastic), safety pin on inside right front. Back fitted with 1 tail-6 fleur-de-lis in white soutache.
Shoulders: 3 snaps on sleeve edge and 1 on edge, 1 loop of elastic near neck. Stand up mandarin collar, white stand up lining, hook & eye at front edges, white soutache binding. Sleeve: 2 parallel rows of white soutache with white fleur-de-lis about it.
Lining: black satin. Breast pocket on right side has name "Samford, Tollette" - lower pocket on left side.
Label on breast pocket: De Moulin & Co.
