Description
Head of Hygieia.
Pentelic marble head mounted on black base. Long oval face, turned slightly to her right. Eyes framed by clearly defined lids. Nose leads from upright forehead to small slightly open mouth with curved lips and full, round chin. Mass of soft curls, gathered and hanging down at back. Once bore bronze diadem, now missing, but depression for band remains.
