Description
Woven, split oak basket, square base, square-ish rim, 2 opposing handles at top. Base 2/2 twill weave, sides 1/1 plain weave. Rim finished with horizontal splint reinforcements held in place by overcast splint stitching. Two opposing strap handles, each notched near ends to accommodate lashings, with thickened center points.
