Description
Woven, split oak basket, circular base and rim, 2 opposing handles at top. Base center convex at top, concave underneath, formed by crossed warp splints. Outer base and sides 1/1 plain weave. Rim finished with horizontal splint reinforcements held in place by overcast splint lashing. Two opposing handles, notched near ends to accommodate lashings; small center thickening at tops.
