Description
Fish sculpture made from ironwood.
The base is a wooden slab and rough on the side and in the back. The fishtail forms the front of the base except for a large groove which separates it form the rough edge of the front. The fish stands upright and is very smooth. Its mouth is open, the eyes are well-defined and gills are formed with curved grooves. The back fin is grooved horizontally and has two distinct parts with an irregularly indented edge. The side gills are rectilinear and curved with deep grooves. The bottom fins are curved and grooved. The color is dark brown with light wood rings.
